1.75". No maker. Spring pin holds ribbon w/bat and ball on a chain. In the 1940s Thompson played in the Negro Leagues for the KC Monarchs. His MLB career started in 1947 w/the St. Louis Browns and then he played for the Giants 1949-56. World Series champion in 1954. Moderate age, fading, to the ribbon but button is glossy.
