An outstanding mid to high grade partial set of 1954-55 Topps, their first entry into the hockey market, with 45 of 60 cards--10 of which are members of the Hockey Hall of Fame. The 60 card set is broken down into four 15-card team sets of Rangers, Bruins, Blackhawks, and Red Wings. This set is missing only the Red Wings for completion.

Included in this lot are: 1 Gamble (EX), 2, 3 Howell (VG/EX), 6, 7, 10 Worsley (EX+), 11 Bathgate (EX+), 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20 Gadsby (EX/MT), 21, 22 (trimmed), 23, 24, 25 Flaman (EX/MT), 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, 36, 37, 38, 40, 41 Stanley (EX), 42, 43, 44, 47, 48, 49 Quackenbush (EX+), 50, 53, 54, 55, 56 Laprade (EX+), 60 Schmidt (VG/EX). The common players from this partial set present in equal condition to the stars with the majority in the EX+ range with a few higher and a few lower and only one card (#22) that shows signs of alteration.
