T218 cards are the most widely collected prewar boxing cards. They are beautiful examples of turn of the century lithography. Mecca is the most common brand of T218. Hassan is slightly more difficult to find than Mecca, say on a 55:45 ratio. Burdick accurately reported a Tolstoi brand but over the years later publications “lost” Tolstoi, probably because it is so rare, surfacing only a few times a year. Offered here is the key T218 Tolstoi card, HOFer Jack Johnson.
