Complete set of 49 T53 Cowboys, grades range from VGEX to PR/FR averaging VG to GD. From Forbes/Mitchell reference book: “one interesting card – His Favorite Brand – has an advertisement within the advertisement with a cowboy holding a pack of Hassan Cigarettes. The 50th card – An Exciting Game – showing a cowboy using a gun after a card game was planned for the series but was subsequently considered unsuitable for inclusion by the manufacturer (hence the odd number of cards 49 instead of 50). The series was produced at two factories and was probably issued between 1909 and 1912.”
