This lot contains an official National League ball signed on the sweet spot by Leo Durocher of the New York Yankees, Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals. The ball comes with a full letter of authenticity from James Spence Authentication. The signature is in blue ball point pen and comes on a 1987-89 A.G. Giamatti ball. The ball remains clean in the area around the signature and shows only minor discoloration on the opposite ends of the panel.
