1931 Exhibit Wm. Desmond SGC 10 [with Thorpe]

These cards were issued as part of a difficult set of movie stars.  The Thorpe shows Thorpe in an Indian headdress from the movie "Battling With Buffalo Bill" (1931).  The Desmond card shows actor William Desmond with Jim Thorpe and another Indian actor who went by the name Chief Thundercloud.  The cards are found in various colors.  The same artwork also is used on several strip cards from the same era.  These are the only Exhibit cards that feature Jim Thorpe and are highly sought after by Exhibit collectors.
