This lot features an opportunity to acquire one of the most significant football cards in the 1888 N162 Goodwin Champions Beecher. This particular example, though graded SGC 30, presents exceptionally well with only small areas of paper loss on the reverse accounting for the low technical grade. The presence of the paper loss is not even immediately noticeable upon inspection. A minor area of surface wrinkling is also faintly noticeable on the front and does not break the paper or pass through to the back of the card. This particular card is the perfect mix of mid-grade eye appeal and technical condition detractions that do not pose a distraction.
