Leaf was notorious for printing errors and anomalies throughout its 1940s sports sets, none more striking than when it missed an ink color entirely. They are rare and prized collectible additions to Leaf sets. This card of HOF heavyweight champion Gene Tunney is entirely missing the red ink background and flesh tone printing, giving the card a stark white background and gray appearing skin tones.
