Offered here is a tremendous head start on the legendary 1952 Topps set. This lot, featuring 182 unique cards and three duplicates, was assembled with eye appeal and grade consistency in mind. From card to card, this partial set displays exceptionally well and ranges from VG to EX in condition. Most of the downgraded cards are due to back flaws, corner wear, or edge wear. The important player images are largely unaffected almost entirely throughout the group. Additionally, in the 1-80 series, there is a good balance between red and black backs with 23 red and 29 black being represented.
This set grades 38% EX, 42% VG-EX, 17% VG, and a few lesser condition. Two cards have been professionally graded: 59 Robin Roberts PSA 4 and 83 Billy Johnson PSA 4.
