Here is an incredibly rare near set of Hungarian cards issued in 1960. The lot includes 119 different match book sized cards printed on thin paper, similar to the 1969 Globe Imports baseball issue. The set covers the history of the Olympic Games up to and including 1960 with a heavy emphasis on East Bloc athletes. Among the recognizable major stars included are football and baseball great Jim Thorpe, Jessie Owens, Chariots of Fire subject Harold Abrahams and surf legend Duke Kahanamoku. Missing only Laszlo Papp for completion. NRMT
