The set was issued by Donruss in 1965 under the title "Hot Rod Bubble Gum, Series 1" but it is referred to with the “Spec Sheet” title that is on the back of every card. The American Card Catalog designation is R818-5. There are several cards of well-known drag racers in the set. Card #49 is the rookie card of Bobby Unser, a three-time Indy 500 winner and member of the International Motorsports Hall of Fame. Card #59 is Motor Sports Hall of Fame inductee drag racer Connie Kalitta. Range from EX- NM/MT Average NRMT
