Lot of (14) Hockey Players. The Exhibit Supply Company exported its products to Canada starting in the 1920s. There were several ‘homegrown’ arcade products as well, though none of them were likely actual products of ESCO given their different materials and sizes as compared to Exhibit cards. Needless to say, a main subject of the Canadian issues were hockey players. Starting after World War II and going into the 1950s an issuer or issuers in Canada made arcade cards of NHL players. Several styles of cards were issued and the checklisting is a work in progress. Collectors and third party graders popularly call all of them exhibit cards but the nomenclature is as accurate as calling all tissues Kleenex. Offered here are 14 cards from various Canadian ‘exhibit’ series, including the following [Members of the Hockey Hall of Fame are marked with an *], no grade means tape residue:
