Offered are five complete matchbooks, much tougher to find than matchcovers without the matches, and per the Standard Catalog's comments on Diamond Match baseball sets, worth multiple times as much as matchless covers.
1935-36 U3 Diamond Match: Irving Burns, full matches, tear on striker pad Raymond Phelps, unused
1946 U4 Diamond Match Team Name on Back Charlie Grimm, stain, a few matches missing, striker pad used
1940s-50s Dimaggio’s on Fisherman’s Wharf: a matcbook from the family's restaurant in San Francisco featuring a batting image of Joe on one side. Unused
1954 Washington Nationals w/schedule printed inside: colorful red, white and blue. Unused
These books have not been opened often so I could not find a good way to photo them open.
