This Western set is a complex one. It was issued as a fully suited set of playing cards plus an undetermined number of jokers. One is included. The company issued very similar sets throughout the late 1920s and early 1930s that can be differentiated only by the copyright dates on the fronts. The group offered here is a complete deck of suited cards, 52 in total, representing Aces through Kings for spades, diamonds, hearts and clubs. All cards are copyright 1928. All of the big Western stars of the silent era are included in the set: Tom Mix, Yakima Canutt, William S. Hart, Hoot Gibson, Jack Holt, Ken Maynard, Bob Steele [who later played Trooper Duffy on F-Troop], Bob Custer, Fred Thompson, Jack Hoxie, etc. Range in grade from PRFR to VGEX averaging VG-
