June 12, 1897 Sporting Life, cover features President and Mangaers of the Western League of Baseball Clubs with Hall of Famers Connie Mack, Charles Comisky, and Ban Johnson. The Western League was the predecessor to the American League. The paper is whole. I photoed the paper in the bag so have not taken it out of the page due to it's frailty.
